Peace in your hands educational pack goes to 200 primary schools in the Netherlands‘Peace in your hands’ educational pack goes to 200 primary schools in the Netherlands.
The ‘Peace in your hands’ pack is part of a teaching materials box which is being distributed to all primary schools with more than 10 refugee children.

The Kinderpostzegels Foundation (support for vulnerable children around the world) and LOWAN (educational support for migrants) were asked by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science to help put the teaching materials box together. Educational experts advised that the ‘Peace in your hands’ pack was a valuable addition to the available teaching materials to support the social and emotional development of children: finding peace within yourself, and building peace, respect and tolerance in the class.

The contents of the teaching materials box were defined in consultation with teachers and school managers who already have experience in working with refugee children.
